The Hd Hr Nationals are held every year on the June long week end & this year was NSW turn. They chose the beautiful seaside town of Kiama on the south coast & again the weather was great sun all weekend.
My sister Karen & I left home on Friday morning to start our journey down south Dave had to work so he came down later that day, we no sooner left home & were pulled over by the police to be breathe tested but all they spoke about was the car & how he has a HK after our little chat we started off again.
We did'nt go any more then 50 miles a hour so it was'nt a fast trip. When we got to Kiama we booked in & there were people there already so we got chatting found out where they all came from QLD. VC,S.A & W.A.On the Saturday is when the nationals are held so we all headed down to the park there were about 70 cars it was really great to see so many holdens. Later that night the prestation was held at the local club & trophies were given out again another great night.
On Sunday we all met at the Blow Hole what a magnificent site to have all the cars lined up on both sides of the car park after awhile we started off on cruise to the Car Museme near Wollongong there we had lunch. It was a fantastic weekend & we met some great people next yerar it is at Mt Gambier & we are going but I think we will be only taking 1 car don't think the van will be finished in time really looking forward to that road trip.Hope you enjoy the pics.
